This photo was taken in March of 2007 from Magic Island facing just west of Ala Moana Shopping Center. The sun had set a few minutes earlier and I snapped this photo. I can’t recall if I used a tripod because its a long exposure but its blurry. If I used a tripod I must [...]
When I took this picture back in 2006 or so my daughter was only a toddler. She loved to draw on the sidewalks and we always left chalk out for her to play with. Well, it rained and this was the result. Photo taken outside of our old condo in Foster City, CA. For those [...]
But not a drop to drink. Mostly because this was in a car wash and I prefer my water from the faucet. This is the Waipahu Shell carwash as I drove through. This is an older shot from an iPhone 3GS and editing on the iPhone using Camera Bag.
I like the way these stairs look, the shape, color, and general design. Something about it makes me think of a backbone or exoskeleton, but that’s me. This is in the First Hawaiian Tower in downtown Honolulu by the magic money machines. This is an older shot from an iPhone 3GS and editing on the [...]
Here’s an older photo, redone in a different style.

I walk our dogs daily and during these walks I wish I had my camera. This past weekend I decided to suck it up and carry the big dSLR while walking both dogs. I have them sit while I take a photo and it worked out decently well. This is an old fence along my [...]
This is part of the NYC display at Legoland in Carlsbad, CA. The display was impressive with many cities and famous landmarks. My only disappointment was the faded colors, weathered blocks, spiderwebs, moss, and other detritus that made the displays feel very, very old.
The Tea Cup ride at Disneyland always produces awesome imagery. Here’s another one from our recent trip with Kaitlyn and mommy in focus while the rest of the cups are a blur… something about the color and motion of this ride always catches my eye.
I waited till a few hours after California closed for the night before taking this photo. I wish I could have got one without people in it but this is the best I could do.
