Photo taken sometime in between 2010 and 2011. Managed to get just the right angle after driving up and down the hills above downtown. I finally found this vantage point before the rainbow vanished. Part of me wishes the pole wasn’t there, another part of me feels it adds some visual drama and helps with the setting.

This is an old photo from the spiderwebs at our condo in Foster City, CA on July 23, 2006. Our condo complex had a ton of spiders, they were everywhere so we had lots of dew drops on spiderweb photo opps! 70mm f/5 @ 1/60 ISO400 with my old Nikon D70.
